Chong Wen Ge Café (崇文阁), a newly-open café that shared the same building with Peranakan tile gallery and Singapore Music Box Museum, and also just beside Thian Hock Keng Temple. Interior of the café combined with beautiful tiles collection for tables and decorations.
I didn’t try their main course menus because I heard it take a while and I need to go to other places. However, I tasted their signature Nyonya Kuih and Batikrolls’s cake (rolled cake with traditional Javanese batik pattern), accompanied with hot tea in the rainy weather. Personally, I like Chong Wen Ge’s Nyonya Kuih, it has a lovely texture and not too sweet. On the other hand, Batikrolls taste is not that suitable for my palate.
